The Adega Machado fado house is recommended in several Brazilian publications, this time in the renowned The Traveler, a travel magazine.

This establishment is well known by many Brazilians who visit Lisbon periodically, and by many others who currently reside in the capital.

The Adega Machado tells in its history the visit of three presidents of the Federal Republic of Brazil, Juscelino Kubitschek (1950s), Jânio Quadros (60s) and Fernando Collor de Melo (90s).
