From July 7th to 29th, Largo de São Carlos will once again be transformed into an open-air concert hall.

Festival ao Largo, music and dance in a program that this year honors Wagner and Verdi.

With the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, the Choir of the National Theater of São Carlos, the National Ballet Company and special guests, among them the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.

Angola hosts the second edition of the Caixa Luanda Festival on October 27th, at the Cine Atlântico Stage.

This second edition will feature some of the main interpreters of Fado, musical genre that is Intangible Heritage of Humanity, among which: Ana Moura, Gisela João, Raquel Tavares, Maria Ana Bobone, Marco Rodrigues and José Gonçalez.

As far as Angolan rhythms are concerned, singer Ary will be her great representative on the stage of the Festival.

The Caixa Luanda Festival affirms itself as a prestigious reference in the Angolan cultural calendar and helps to spread the friendship and cultural bond between Angola and Portugal, continuing the success of the previous edition.

A tour in Lisbon, different and special for the route but above all for having a good end.

Visit to iconic places, the discovery of Bairro Alto, the much that gathered over 500 years of existence and finish with Live Fado, tasting Tidbits and Wine in the second oldest fado house in Lisbon, the Adega Machado, completing 80 years of existence in 2017.

The Fado Inside the Box is the cherry on top of this hill, from the Walk & Fado tour that leaves the streets of Lisbon from July 3rd.

Camané and António Chainho represent Portugal at this festival in Badajoz (Spain) from 6th to 8th July, which “unites” both fado and flamenco. The festival allows the Spanish public to discover Fado and the “Portuguese neighbors” to enjoy Flamenco.

From this Saturday onwards, in the Centro Cultural de Belém, music, cinema and architecture in its outdoor spaces, and free entrance (!).

Until September, from Thursday to Sunday, the Jardim das Oliveiras hosts jazz concerts and world music and CCB Square is a must stop for anyone who likes musical documentaries and films about architecture.
