The television station TELEFE GROUP Argentina and Bolivia TV (with satellite coverage in America and Europe) comes to Lisbon to record the program “Viajes y Lives.” They chose Adega Machado to take the Fado to the birthplace of Tango.
The program shows the culture, traditions, gastronomy, hotel industry, tourism activities, etc. of each country and it aims to motivate the viewer to visit the destination.
The energetic presenter Cacho Avellaneda’s made this very popular program.

FADO CAN BE CHIC?
“Fado Chic” had its 1st edition in 2014 and brought to Chamusca (supported by the municipality) the singers Rodrigo Costa Félix, Ana Maria Bobone, Marco Rodrigues and still Fado Chamusquense with local artists. “Fado Chic” had its 1st edition in 2014 and brought to Chamusca (supported by the municipality) the singers Rodrigo Costa Félix, Ana Maria Bobone, Marco Rodrigues and still Fado Chamusquense with local artists.
This year takes place the 3rd edition, runs from March until November. The attractive poster brings together singers Filipa Cardoso and Carolina, two voices that make the actuality of fado in Portugal, accompanied by instruments Luis Guerrero, Pedro Pinhal and Didi, family attendance at Adega Machado. Even the voices, Isabel Noronha and Yola Dinis, more familiar could not be.

Fado and Tango? Some studies refer about the mutual influences at the base of this two musical genders pointing the connection as dock cities, Lisbon and Buenos Aires, and another one affirms that Tango and Bolero, as urban songs, owes a lot to Fado.
Anyway, beside the theories, the fact is that among the best orchestras, the best dancers and musicians of Tango and Bolero appears a presentation of Fado by a singer familiar to us (private artist of Adega Machado), Pedro Moutinho.
Between 1st. and 5th of June, at “Salão da Voz do Operário”, Lisbon.
